The Beet Freaks add their name to the long list of savvy garage revivalists from Sweden. Their brand of sixties crud is entrenched in the rudimentary style of countless garage punk unknowns. The primitive three chord fuzz punkers, "Run And Hide" and "Wall Of Shame" fill out Side 1. Hands down the highlight of the proceedings is the period perfect, beat punk treat, "Hey Little Lover", that kicks off Side 2. The EP winds down with the hypnotic, moody punk of "Black Room".
