San Francisco's pied pipers of paisley pop unfortunately suffered the same demise as many other high class popsters endured during the 80s. As commercially groomed acts enjoyed the attention of the hoi polloi, Flying Color languished in the obscurity of college radio. "Look My Way" is a soaring piece of energetic jangle pop that sets it's hooks in from the instant the needle drops. "Dear Friend" (which would show up again as the lead off track on 1987's self titled album) incoporates a dash of energetic folk into the emotive pop recipe. Brilliant ear candy that packs a punch!
